Successful London Book Launch of
‘Human Dynamics in Construction Risk Management’.

On 24 November, Keating Chambers kindly hosted representatives of the construction industry and the legal fraternity to a lively and entertaining launch of the new book.

Paul Darling QC welcomed the guests on behalf of Keating Chambers, a leading Barristers’ Chambers offering legal expertise to the construction and engineering industries.

 

Dr Robert Gaitskell QC from Keating Chambers was one of 12 co-authors of the book, contributing the chapter ‘Dispute Boards in the context of the ITER Nuclear Fusion Project in France’

Dr. Peter Hansford informed the audience on the latest government initiatives for the construction industry. Dr Hansford is the Chief Construction Adviser to the UK Government and was President of The Institution of Civil Engineers in 2010-2011.

John McArthur, President of Kiewit Corporation of Omaha NE USA provided an overview on the North American construction industry and its approach to risk management.
Kiewit Corp has widespread activities in major construction and infrastructure investment in the U.S.A and Canada.
